Blythewood extended their winning streak to 15 games thanks to a huge performance from Chase Thomas. The Blythewood Bengals came out on top against the Ridge View Blazers by a score of 59-46 on Saturday thanks in part to Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 12 boards. The contest was her 21st in a row with at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Hayley Hightower, who posted nine points and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Defeat or not, Ridge View got some senior leadership from Anasia Harvey and Janiya Carter. Harvey had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Carter scored three points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Blythewood's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for Ridge View, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-8.

Coming up, Blythewood will head out on the road to challenge Ridge View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blythewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.4 points per game this season. As for Ridge View, they have already played their next matchup, a 66-37 victory against Sumter on the 11th.
