Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Extends Winning Streak to Three

Caldwell waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the West Elk Patriots by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Ella Risley paced Caldwell's offense, picking up nine kills. Risley got some help from Ava Newell and her 13 assists. Risley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kennedy Lowery, each putting up two.

The victory got Caldwell back to even at 15-15. As for West Elk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-24.

Caldwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Argonia on the 11th. As for West Elk, they will square off against Goessel on the 21st.
