Football Recap: Leicester Runs Past Quabbin Regional

The Leicester Wolverines didn't have too much trouble with the Quabbin Regional Panthers on Saturday as they won 20-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Leicester can attribute much of their success to Jaxon Ruth, who rushed for 76 yards and one TD, and also threw for 64 yards and one touchdown. Gavin Forget was in the mix as well, providing the Wolverines with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Leicester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Leicester now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Quabbin Regional, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Leicester has already played their next contest, a 40-8 win against Littleton on the 3rd. As for Quabbin Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-3 defeat against West Boylston/Tahanto on the 3rd.
