Soccer Recap: Whittier RVT Comes Up Short

Whittier RVT came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-2 to the Academy of Notre Dame Lancers. Whittier RVT were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Academy of Notre Dame apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Whittier RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Academy of Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Whittier RVT is taking a road trip to face off against Triton Regional at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Academy of Notre Dame has already played their next game (against Mystic Valley Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
