It was fun while it lasted, but Monclova Christian Academy's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Saturday. They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scott Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Monclova Christian Academy fell to 7-1. As for Scott, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Monclova Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Temple Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Scott will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Lorain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
