Soccer Recap: California Academy of Math & Science Takes a Loss

If California Academy of Math & Science was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Rolling Hills Prep on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coyotes lost 5-2 to the Animo City of Champions Wildcats on Thursday. Naoki Ikeda is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

California Academy of Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Animo City of Champions, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, California Academy of Math & Science will be playing in front of their home fans against Wildwood at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Animo City of Champions, they will face off against EF Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
