Recap: WestSide Renegades vs. Shady Spring Tigers
The WestSide Renegades entered their tilt with the Shady Spring Tigers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. WestSide blew past Shady Spring 57-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win WestSide has posted yet this season.
Shady Spring's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendra Pizzino, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Kylee Barnes was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight steals.
WestSide's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5. As for Shady Spring, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WestSide will take on Tug Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tug Valley is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Shady Spring, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Midland Trail at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
