Volleyball Recap: Mt. Madonna Comes Up Short

Mt. Madonna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Monterey Dores, falling 3-0. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dores from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-22.

Mt. Madonna's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monterey, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Madonna will take on San Lorenzo Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Madonna is facing San Lorenzo Valley at the right time seeing as San Lorenzo Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Monterey will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Aragon at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
