Gibson Southern had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Everything went their way against the Boonville Pioneers as they made off with a 42-19 victory. With the Titans ahead 36-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Gibson Southern's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Boonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
