Pierce Burris put up the most runs he's had since back in March on Saturday. He went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Rye: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Burris and Rye will challenge Hoehne at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
