For the second straight game, Surry Central will face off against North Surry. The Golden Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Surry Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Surry Central's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against North Surry by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Will Pardue made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Pardue was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

In other pitching news, Surry Central got a great performance from Dru Gaddy as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 5.2 innings pitched.

Pardue wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

North Surry's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Surry Central, their record is now 13-4.
