Smith Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-15 to the Virginia City Muckers. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Smith Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Virginia City, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Smith Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Mineral County at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Virginia City will face off against rival Pyramid Lake at 3:00 p.m. on April 15.
