Soccer Recap: North East Starts off Right with Win over Hickory

North East had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Hickory Hornets with a sharp 4-1 victory on Saturday. The score was close at halftime, but North East pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Looking ahead, North East will be playing in front of their home fans against West Middlesex at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickory, they will venture away from home to square off against Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
