Basketball Game Preview: Hermiston Bulldogs vs. Southridge Suns

Hermiston and Southridge are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Hermiston Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Southridge Suns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hermiston is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Hermiston is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Kennewick on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hermiston came up short against Kennewick, falling 72-47. The Bulldogs were down 52-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Southridge hadn't done well against Walla Walla recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Southridge came out on top against Walla Walla by a score of 60-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Suns.

Southridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Hermiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
