Softball Recap: Louis E. Dieruff Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Allen last Wednesday, Louis E. Dieruff came back down to earth. The Huskies lost 22-1 to the Pleasant Valley Bears on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Louis E. Dieruff's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pleasant Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Louis E. Dieruff is set to challenge their familiar foe Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley will face off against rival East Stroudsburg South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
