Baseball Recap: Apponequet Regional Takes a Loss

Apponequet Regional was the 4-3 winner over Dartmouth when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apponequet Regional now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Dartmouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apponequet Regional will square off against Fairhaven at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. As for Dartmouth, they will face off against New Bedford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
