Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Stockton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

Thunder Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Stockton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-17-1.

Thunder Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Osborne on the 7th. As for Stockton, after both having extra time off, they and Rock Hills will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
