Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Allen East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 5-3 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Mustangs since April 26, 2016.

Jefferson dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Allen East, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will take on Elida at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Allen East, they will challenge Ridgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
