Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross Triumphs

Holy Cross saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the John Hardin Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Holy Cross easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Paige Arlinghaus paced Holy Cross' offense, picking up ten kills. Arlinghaus got some help from Lacey Hunt and her 11 assists. Hunt and Arlinghaus didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for John Hardin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Holy Cross has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Meade County on the 4th. As for John Hardin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against North Hardin on the 4th.
