Softball Recap: Pompano Beach Triumphs

Pompano Beach won the last time they faced Florida Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes came out on top against the Florida Christian Patriots by a score of 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Tornadoes.

The team relied heavily on MACAYLA RICE, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pompano Beach hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

Pompano Beach now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Florida Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Coming up, Pompano Beach will head out on the road to face off against Monarch at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Monarch is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Florida Christian, they will welcome Immaculata-La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
