Softball Recap: Ridge Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Ridge barely beat Bound Brook the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devil's pitchers stepped up to hand the Crusaders a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devil considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Ridge has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs this season. As for Bound Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge will welcome West Essex at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bound Brook, they will challenge Union at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
