Baseball Recap: Buckingham Browne & Nichols Comes Up Short

Buckingham Browne & Nichols lost a heartbreaker to Milton Academy when they met back in May of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Knights lost 9-3 to the Mustangs. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Buckingham Browne & Nichols saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CORTEZ HEYWORTH, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Buckingham Browne & Nichols' loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Milton Academy, they pushed their record up to 2-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Buckingham Browne & Nichols will venture away from home to take on Pingree at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Milton Academy, they will host Belmont Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
