Basketball Recap: Randolph-Macon Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Bijou Kebbay and Kay Perry

After flying high against Front Royal HomeSchool last Thursday, Randolph-Macon Academy came back down to earth. The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets took a hard 35-18 fall against the Trinity Christian Gryphons on Tuesday.

Kay Perry and Bijou Kebbay certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Perry posted seven points and five rebounds, while Kebbay earned eight points and three blocks. Kebbay has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last four times she's played.

Randolph-Macon Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Randolph-Macon Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Massanutten Military Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Randolph-Macon Academy's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Massanutten Military Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out to square off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
