Recap: Frederick W Warriors vs. Arlington Baptist Eagles
Even though the Arlington Baptist Eagles scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, the Frederick W Warriors still came out on top. Frederick W pulled ahead with a 59-58 photo finish over Arlington Baptist. Frederick W didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaac Hinton, who scored 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Hinton. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendon Brown, who scored 16 points.
Frederick W's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Arlington Baptist, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Frederick W is on the road again on Thursday and play against Covenant Life at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Covenant Life is ranked 59th, while Frederick W is ranked 84th). Arlington Baptist will be home for the holidays to greet Perry Hall Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
