Natomas has gone a perfect 4-0 against Casa Roble recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Natomas Nighthawks will head out to face off against the Casa Roble Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Natomas sitting on eight straight victories and Casa Roble on five.

Natomas proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 74) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Laguna Creek, sneaking past 60-58. Given the Nighthawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Cardinals are ranked 557th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Casa Roble hadn't done well against El Camino recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Casa Roble enjoyed a cozy 75-58 win over El Camino.

Natomas better keep an eye on Benny Ambriz. He was instrumental in Casa Roble's win, going 10 for 18 on his way to 24 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Ambriz is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Mason Pearcy was another key player, going 6 of 8 en route to 16 points.

Casa Roble was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Casa Roble pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Natomas, their record is now 20-6.

Natomas strolled past Casa Roble when the teams last played back in January by a score of 73-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Natomas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
