Soccer Recap: Konawaena Takes a Loss

Konawaena managed to keep up with Hilo until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Konawaena Wildcats lost 8-3 to the Hilo Vikings. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Konawaena fell to 2-1. As for Hilo, the win got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Konawaena is taking a road trip to challenge Kamehameha Hawai'i at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kamehameha Hawai'i will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Konawaena surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hilo, they will welcome Makua Lani Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
