Basketball Recap: Mayfield Wildcats vs. Riverside Beavers
Mayfield lost to Riverside back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mayfield Wildcats escaped with a win against the Riverside Beavers by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Leading Mayfield to victory were Andre Avery and Angelo Newman. Avery dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards, while Newman went 8 for 16 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds.
