North Star entered their tilt with Lighthouse Christian on Saturday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.

Cole Young was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Luke Fox and Carlos Guzman did most of the damage at the plate: Fox went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs, while Guzman went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Zach Anderson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

North Star always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lighthouse Christian only posted an OBP of .059.

North Star's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lighthouse Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

North Star will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair will be back at it again later today.
