Football Game Preview: Stevens Point Panthers vs. D.C. Everest Evergreens + Official Tickets

The Stevens Point Panthers will take on the D.C. Everest Evergreens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stevens Point will be strutting in after a win while D.C. Everest will be coming in after a defeat.

Stevens Point took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Eau Claire North, posting a 49-21 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, D.C. Everest unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Chippewa Falls, falling 35-14. The game marked the Evergreens' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Stevens Point will have to contain Corbin Enzenroth as he made an impact in D.C. Everest's last game. He rushed for 156 yards and one TD. Enzenroth's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards.

Stevens Point's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for D.C. Everest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Stevens Point won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in October of 2024, slipping by D.C. Everest 41-40. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Evergreens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
