San Diego High School Football Rankings

Who's up and who's down

It was a perfect week for the MaxPreps power rankings: not a single team changed position in spite of last week's action. The action included a dizzyingly high 103-point combined score from Helix and San Marcos.

Can't Touch This

Helix got a 62 - 41 win over San Marcos last week, and a key reason for the win was sophomore Elelyon Noa. Noa rushed for 323 yards and four touchdowns. That performance made Noa one of the best players in the power rankings last week.

Game of Inches

It doesn't get any closer than a one-point game, and that was the margin of last week's closest contest, which featured thrill-seekers Steele Canyon and Granite Hills. Steele Canyon won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Granite Hills 28 - 27. The power rankings were completely indifferent to the match, so neither team moved up or down this week.
