Baseball Game Preview: Southwestern Spartans vs. Tri Titans

The Southwestern Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Tri Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

On Monday, Southwestern came up short against Knightstown and fell 8-5.

Meanwhile, Tri came up short against Winchester Community on Monday, falling 14-4.

Tri saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kain Knepley, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Tri's loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Southwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Southwestern suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Tri in their previous matchup back in April of 2018. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
