Football Recap: North Plainfield Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belleville, North Plainfield was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 19-13 win over the Belvidere County Seaters. For the Canucks, this counts as revenge for the 35-14 victory the County Seaters walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The win got North Plainfield back to even at 1-1. As for Belvidere, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

North Plainfield and Belvidere will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Canucks are set to face off against their familiar foe South Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Belvidere will challenge rival Manville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
