Basketball Recap: Midland Drops Highest Score of Season Against Henry-Senachwine

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midland). They walked away with a 58-46 victory over the Henry-Senachwine Mallards on Saturday. The Timberwolves pushed the score to 42-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mallards cut but never quite recovered from.

Midland's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14. As for Henry-Senachwine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Henry-Senachwine will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Marquette at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
