Basketball Game Preview: High Tech Mesa Thunder vs. Monarch Royals

The High Tech Mesa Thunder will head out to take on the Monarch Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. High Tech Mesa will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, High Tech Mesa got the win against Southern California Yeshiva by a conclusive 60-39.

Meanwhile, Monarch took a blow against High Tech NC on Tuesday, falling 61-34.

High Tech Mesa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Monarch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Everything came up roses for High Tech Mesa against Monarch in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 72-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for High Tech Mesa since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
