Volleyball Recap: Sulligent Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sulligent can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lamar County Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. That makes it the first time this season the Blue Devils have let down their home crowd.

Sulligent's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Lamar County, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

Sulligent does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lamar County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Red Bay on the 15th.
