Basketball Recap: North/Waukesha South Takes a Loss

North/Waukesha South and Catholic Memorial squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but North/Waukesha South had to settle for second. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catholic Memorial Crusaders. While losing is never fun, North/Waukesha South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Catholic Memorial is ranked 33rd).

North/Waukesha South has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. Catholic Memorial's win bumped their record up to 18-6.

North/Waukesha South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catholic Memorial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-40 victory against Waukesha North on the 21st.
