Soccer Game Preview: Kingfisher vs. Crossings Christian

Kingfisher is 0-3 against Crossings Christian since March of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Yellowjackets will head out to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Crossings Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kingfisher, who comes in off a win.

Kingfisher had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Dove Science Academy on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on Dove Science Academy with a sharp 6-0 win. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Kingfisher this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Crossings Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crooked Oak. Crossings Christian's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The victory was the third in a row for Kingfisher, bringing their record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Crossings Christian, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.
