Jesuit put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Westview Wildcats as the Jesuit Crusaders made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
Addy Azavedo had a dynamite game for Jesuit, getting nine digs and six aces. That's the most aces Azavedo has posted since back in October of 2023.
Jesuit's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Westview, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
After both having extra time off, Jesuit and Beaverton will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaverton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jesuit surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westview, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Hood River Valley on Saturday.
