Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hurricane suffered their biggest defeat since October 29, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Parkersburg Big Reds. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Big Reds this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

Hurricane took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

Kiley Jones paced Hurricane's offense, picking up 13 kills. Jones got some help from Adalee Mccomas and her 15 assists. Mccomas also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lydia Peterson, each putting up three.

Hurricane dropped their record down to 22-24-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Parkersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 20-17-4.

As of now, neither Hurricane nor the Big Reds have any future games scheduled.
