Baseball Game Preview: Wimberley Texans vs. Bandera BULLDOGS

For the second straight game, Wimberley will face off against Bandera. The Texans will welcome the BULLDOGS at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wimberley has seven straight victories, Bandera has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Tuesday, Wimberley beat Bandera 8-3.

Bryson Anderson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Cody Stoever was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Wimberley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bandera, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.
