Softball Recap: Roseburg Indians vs. South Medford Panthers
Roseburg barely beat South Medford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Panthers on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on Saturday.
Jasmine Morales made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, Terra Singleton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Ciera Singleton was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
