Football Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

Prairie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cedar Falls, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hawks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 20-17 on Friday.

Prairie's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. As for Cedar Falls, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Prairie will be playing at home against Iowa City West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. As for Cedar Falls, they will venture away from home to challenge Linn-Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
