Volleyball Recap: Melrose-Mindoro Takes a Loss

Melrose-Mindoro's tournament run continued when they took on Tomah on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Timberwolves. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper Zeman paced Melrose-Mindoro's offense, picking up six kills. Zeman got some help from Abby Heimdahl and her four assists.

Melrose-Mindoro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tomah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Melrose-Mindoro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Independence/Gilmanton on the 6th. As for Tomah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against La Crosse Logan on the 6th.
