Pueblo County entered their tilt with Pueblo South on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Colts. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nick Hernandez was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Blake Swift also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Pueblo County pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Pueblo South, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Pueblo County has already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Pueblo Central on the 18th. As for Pueblo South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-4 victory against Pueblo East on the 21st.
