Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Escondido Charter Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

St. Joseph Academy's offense was headlined by Maddy Kara and Grace Doan, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Adley Fontaine and her 14 assists. Doan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
