Soccer Game Preview: Hudson's Bay vs. Woodland

The Hudson's Bay Eagles will take on the Woodland Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Hudson's Bay didn't have quite enough to beat R.A. Long and fell 2-1. Hudson's Bay haven't had much luck with R.A. Long recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of R.A. Long. While losing is never fun, Woodland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while R.A. Long are ranked 96th).

Hudson's Bay now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-3.

Hudson's Bay was able to grind out a solid win over Woodland in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
