Volleyball Recap: Garretson Comes Up Short

Garretson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks. If the Blue Dragons were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the C-E Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 25-9.

Garretson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Colman-Egan, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Garretson will venture away from home to take on Sioux Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Colman-Egan, they will host St. Mary at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
