Softball Recap: Cabrillo Comes Up Short

Cabrillo was the 4-2 winner over Mission College Prep when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquistadores wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mission College Prep, they moved to 8-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cabrillo is set to challenge their familiar foe Arroyo Grande at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mission College Prep will face off against rival St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. The timing isn't great for the Royals: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Knights have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
