Basketball Recap: Beech Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gallatin last Tuesday, Beech came back down to earth. The Beech Buccaneers fell 50-37 to the Hillsboro Burros on Friday. The Buccaneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Burros earlier this season, when they won 55-44.

Beech has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Hillsboro, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

As of now, neither Beech nor Hillsboro have any future games scheduled.
