Volleyball Recap: Canby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Canby was the 3-0 winner over MACCRAY when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell 3-1 to the Wolverines on Tuesday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Brynn Kockelman paced Canby's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kockelman got some help from Emily Nelson and her 21 assists. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Canby's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for MACCRAY, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Canby is taking a road trip to face off against Ortonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for MACCRAY, they will be playing at home against Yellow Medicine East at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
